Good homemade food. Great fries and hash Browns and sausage gravy. No frozen fries here they use fresh potatoes. Friendly faces and a very cozy place to drop in.

My favorite breakfast place in Coos Bay. Their biscuits and gravy and hashbrowns are the best! Great customer service, quick, and HUGE portions. I always have leftovers for later. The restaurant is small with limited seating and can get super busy.

Mom's Kitchen is a nice place with friendly and attentive staff. I had the Daily Special - French Toast, bacon and eggs. This is home cooking. Mom is in the kitchen and servers are busy keeping the tables clean and coffee warmed up.

I really really love Mom's Kitchen. The Denver omelet, or two eggs over easy with hash browns and wheat toast was wonderful. Eggs over easy, yolks were nice and coated the hash browns, toast to sop up the rest. Coffee was good, and the staff was there to see if you needed refills or anything else. I can see this place as big part of my life around here.

Amazing service, delicious food

A friend asked me to meet him at Mom’s at 2pm yesterday. Neither of us checked Google maps ahead of time and they were Closing when I got there. I was surprised at how much bigger it was inside. The waitress was friendly and nice and offered a Togo meal. The place was clean and inviting and several customers were finishing their meals. I will go to Mom’s again but I will remember to get there a little earlier. Gene L.I made A second trip to moms and had a nice lunch it looks a little bigger from the inside but there’s enough room to eat a decent lunch and be on your way service was fantastic

Super tasty ham and cheese omelette. Plenty of hash browns too. Wife had the meatloaf for breakfast and she said it was yummy.

They are taking take out orders only. Help them out and remember to include a tip

Service is unreal. Constantly checked on but not in an overbearing or uncomfortable way. Plus the food is excellent. I always try to make a stop here on the rare occasion I’m in town at breakfast time.

Stopped in on our Oregon coast Roadtrip after seeing the high reviews. Food was okay (bacon, eggs, pancakes). Food in general needed more flavor, especially the stuffed hashbrowns. Basically our experience matches the other one star reviews mentioning the bland,soggy, basically no cheese hashbrowns.

This little hole in the wall is absolutely amazing! They are so great and accommodating with the kids, they always have coloring books and crayons. It's our families favorite breakfast place in the area!

I absolutely LOVE Mom's kitchen. Everyone was welcoming and the prices are very reasonable. The food is exactly what you expect; home cooked and delicious! It was one of the best breakfasts I've ever had. The blueberry pancakes are incredible!! With fresh local blueberries too! I just moved to the area and will definitely be frequenting Mom's Kitchen.

This place is an absolute gem. My dad and I were driving down the coast, hoping to find a breakfast place near the water, and after many failed attempts we finally pulled into Mom's. I consider myself an aficianado of diner foods and this is one the best ones I've ever visited: wonderful/friendly/prompt service, delicious and lovingly made food, and very reasonable prices. If I lived in the area I would eat here all the time. I can't recommend this place highly enough!

Really nice folks working here but this was one of the worst breakfasts I've ever had. Hashbrowns tasted like potato flavored margarine. Some idiot pooped on the bathroom floor. Threw my shoes away.

The service was great, food came quick and enormous portions...couldn't finish it all. A sweet old lady, found out she was the "Mom" in "Mom's Kitchen", served us with a huge smile! She's been running this diner for 35+ years and the building has been a diner since the 40's. You will miss out on something special if you don't stop in for breakfast!

Worst food I've ever had! They gave me under cooked hash browns and gravy, they were raw! The gravy was terrible! Do not eat here! Save your money!

Wonderful food with friendly staff. Usually full so leave yourself a bit of wait time. We always eat breakfast here when heading north from North Bend on 101.

We visit the coast as often as we can and really enjoy eating along the way.( we live in Utah) How we never stopped here before I will never know! We stopped in for breakfast and it was delicious. Food was plentiful. Service was great. This is a really, really small place so expect it to be a little crowded at the counter and the tables. I feel it's worth the trip. I also seem to recall it closes kinda early.

This is some great breakfast. Portions are large and very satisfying. After reading other reviews I knew I needed to get the stuff hash browns, and they were great as promised. The star of the show though were the absolutely ginormous strawberry pancakes. Great atmosphere and really comforting style food.

Fast service, I had a wonderful breakfast, the waitress was very nice and easy to talk to. Food is just store bought so nothing special, cider was good. The oj was just frozen store bought. Overall nice experience with amazing staff.

Has always been great food although no one has but my wife wore her mask.

Never been to the area before and this was the first place that came up when searching for places to eat here with the pandemic stuff. We were NOT disappointed. Finally a place that knows how to cook eggs other than runny or overcooked!! Will definitely go back if/when ever in that area again!!

Had breakfast there this morning - it was absolutely the best. And the conversations with the cook and other guests was friendly and warm. Certainly a home away from home. Thank you Mom's Kitchen!
